Montessori Homeschool Program
February 19, 2011These past few days I’ve been thinking A LOT! Thinking whether I have to send Michelle to preschool or not. I asked for opinions from couple of my friends who have kids too. Not only I think whether I should send her to preschool or not, I also think which preschool I should send her to. So, I spent my “me time” browsing about preschool. Well, I must admit. I’m kinda person who tends to think too much. My daughter is not even two years old yet 
She’ll turn 2 in April.
Actually I really want to send her to Montessori Preschool which is located 30 mins by bus from my home, but I think it’s quite pricey. Another option is a traditional preschool which is only 10 mins walking from home. This option is more affordable for me and I don’t have to pay for transport either. Also, it’s a good choice if I have another child. It’s so close to home!
BUT… I really interested in Montessori education, so… I started thinking about homeschooling. Since I don’t work (at least for now), why don’t I try to homeschool Michelle? Of course homeschool with Montessori philosophy. How can I set up a Montessori homeschool? I don’t have too much idea, especially about the curriculum. So, I started to research again.

jadi michelle mau homeschool aja ya, gua penasaran kalo homeschool itu anaknya mau denger kata mamanya gak ya? soalnya kalo gurunya yang bilang kan dia lebih denger gitu biasanya daripada mamanya yang nyuruh.. tipsnya apa tuh?
Justru itu Vi, salah satu kekhawatiran gw. Skrg aja dia suka ga mo denger gw ya. Ntar kl homeschool, bisa2 gw sbg guru dibully, lagi. Haha… Jd gw sbnrnya msh pikir2 jg apa bisa ya gw. Tp yah ini namanya liat barang gratisan, gw semangat dong. Kalo menang yah semakin mantep aja nyoba homeschooling.

Di sini banyak yg homeschool Pit, terutama karena preschool lumayan menguras kantong. kalo TK sih udah ga terlalu mahal. Kalo SD, asal public school gratis. Temen tetap ada, kan Ncel lumayan gaul. hehe… gw ajak dia ke Gerejanya aja 2x, trus ada playgroup gratis juga. Banyak teman toh. Cuma ya skrg gw goyah mo homeschool soalnya ga menang barang gratisan giveaway itu.hahha…
Homeschool is good… tergantung anak2nya juga loh. Kl model Samu, homeschool sih alamat gagal, soalnya anaknya suka bergaul ama anak2 lain.
Alasan elu mo homeschooling Ncel apa Li?
Alasan gw mo homeschool ya krn gw kan stay di rumah aja, jadi sekalian mo ngajar gitu lho biar ga usah keluar duit sekolah *pelit.com* ahhaha… tp kayanya susah juga Tin soalnya ni anak suka ga mo nurut sih. huhu…
Homeschool lebih berat emang, karena mamanya harus block waktu juga yah buat jadi guru. Dan ada konflik status gitu kan sebagai mama dan guru. kalau Dea sih sama kayak Samu, alamat gagal dah.
Tapi gimanapun, semoga elu menang yah. *sesama pecinta gratisan*

kalo homeschool gak bisa sosialisasi dong padahal bukannya anak PG butuh belajar sosialisasi?
Di sini ada anak2 yg homeschool, mereka sih ada kegiatan lain ya di luar selain homeschool. Jadi, mereka bisa tetep sosialisasi gitu.
